CMT. A Lucha Libre RPG. Quickstart.

CMT. (Circo, Maroma y Teatro. in Spanish) is a rules-lite tabletop roleplaying game centered around the absurd and pulpy world of Lucha Libre, a place where masked wrestlers battle Monsters, the Media, and the Masses. The game is easy to play and easy to run, and the Quickstart includes everything you need in just 20 pages.

Creating your Luchador is fast, with a broad selection of Moves and Masks to be used in and out of the Ring. For example: “Grabbing” is a Move for capturing limbs, but also one for captivating minds.

Luchadores Level Up in the world by winning Main Events that they organize themselves, putting all their brains and brawn towards the horrific tasks of marketing, booking, and contracting the Rivals they’ll face. And not only are there opponents to defeat, but an Audience to please. The Successes of Rolls go towards either goal, and so a Luchador must choose and suffer either way.

This Quickstart includes:

• Rules for creating and playing as the Luchadores, masked performers of the art of close-quarters combat.
• Rules for the Referee running the Adventure, with guides to structure the Main Events they shall create for their Luchadores.
